BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended so as to rezone: A tract of land located in the 2200 block of Gunbarrel Road, being on the northwest line of Gunbarrel Road southwest of Shallowford Road. Lots 5, 6, and 7, and part of lot 4, block 1, and lots 5, 6, and 7, and part of lot 4, block 2, Brookshire Subdivision, as shown by plat of record in plat book 12, page 39, ROHC; being the property described in deed book 2157, page 620, ROHC. Tax Map No. 149H-E-9. from R-1 Residential Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone. SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning shall be subject to the following conditions: 1. 50' buffer area along west line of property; 2. A berm and 6' wooden sight-obscuring fence or sight-obscuring natural landscape screen between the subject property and the R-1 properties to the west; 3. Screening and buffer area to remain as long as Bonds Terrace properties remain zoned R-1; 4. Dedication of right-of-way if required by City Engineer; and 5. All existing easements are retained. SECTION 3. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as required by law.
